Summary

In this lecture, Professor De Neve will present the latest research findings that empirically address key questions in the relationship between work and wellbeing. Leveraging global data sources, he will provide empirical answers to the following questions: How important is work for our wellbeing? Are we engaged while at work? Does employee wellbeing matter for performance? What drives employee wellbeing and how to improve employee wellbeing? The results of this empirical research provide a robust foundation for business and policy-makers to better understand employee wellbeing and aim to improve happiness and wellbeing across organizations and societies.
