The Indian ambassador visits Zhichenkhar

Her Excellency Shrimati Ruchira Kamboj, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Kingdom of Bhutan visited the Centre for Bhutan & GNH Studies on 5 November 2019. This was the first visit by an Indian ambassador to the Centre established in November 1998. During the visit the Centre gave a presentation on the past and current research programmes of the Centre. It was followed by discussions on future assistance to bring Indian academics to give public lectures on the topics of mutual interest in the Eminent Lecture Series run by the Centre, fellowship support to the young researchers of Centre, and other activities that would promote people-to-people contact. Her Excellency was accompanied by Shri R. Gaurav Shresth, Deputy Chief of Mission.
